Many of us spend hours at the gym. Some want to build muscle, many want to lose weight, others want to increase their strength and some simply want to stay fit. Many people actually prefer working out at home or outside. No matter your preference, we all want results!
So you recently have gone through one of the most wonderful experiences of your life (or the most painful) and you have given birth to a beautiful child! Besides the morning sickness and baby weight gain, everything about the process was great. But now all of that is over and you are wanting the body back that you had before you became pregnant. Losing the baby’s weight and strengthening the core can be hard and may even seem insurmountable! But never fear – read on.
We contacted Kyle about him sharing his transformation with us because we thought it could help motivate and inspire many of us…. and we were right! Many of us drink milk – it’s a great source of vitamin D, protein, calcium and so much more! On the other hand, some people are allergic to dairy milk and need another alternative of milk or don’t want the higher fat content of whole milk – that’s where plant-based milk comes in. When it comes to plant-based milk they can range from coconut to rice to even hemp. There are literally over a half-dozen varieties of milk!
It’s the weekend… are you going to work out? Hmm, that’s a really good question. We don’t have time for a full 50-minute workout, there’s too much to do. If it’s not hanging out with friends, it’s the fact that your “to-do” list is a mile long – aka there just isn’t enough free time in the day! So why not try the weekend warrior workout instead? From Russian twists (I accidentally called it a “Roman” twist in the video – stage fright…) to lat rows, this warrior workout gives you a full-body workout in a minimal amount of time!
Try this warrior workout this weekend! Perform 3-4 sets of 10-12 reps (or more if you need to push yourself) with little or no rest between sets!
Keep it quick and fast! Bet you can’t do 3 sets of 10 reps in under 10 minutes 🙂
So what are you waiting for? Isn’t it time to unleash the warrior that is inside each of us? It’s time to grab life by the horns and get started with this weekend workout! Let us know how it goes below!
Continuing on with our “beastly” theme check out how to increase the size of your biceps. This is a big issue for guys who are interested in adding mass but it should also be important for women as well if they want amazingly toned arms!
Almost every workout you come across from the internet or from your personal trainer will almost always have you doing 3 sets of 8-12 repetitions (that varies of course but that is the general format). That system does make for a great workout and produces fitness results but the scary thing is that almost no one ever questions it. Why not do 2 to 5 sets? Why that many reps? If you are developing your workout routine these are some very important questions to consider.
Get motivated – Here are some really good ways to keep yourself motivated to stay in the groove and get that workout in at the gym! Here’s your gym motivation!
If you mention the word “carbs” to a group of dieters, you will get a range of emotional responses with most of the reactions being fear and avoidance. Many people automatically think they will gain weight when eating carbs; it’s instilled in their mentality! It’s no wonder; carbs can be one of the most perplexing things when it comes to nutrition!
